Nursing AssistantJob Location: Milwaukee, WIJob Type: Contract -
Traveler - 13 weeksJob Duties:* Assist residents with activities of
daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming,
toileting, and ambulation.* Provide assistance with transferring
and positioning residents safely using proper body mechanics and
assistive devices as needed.* Assist with meal preparation,
feeding, and hydration, ensuring residents' nutritional needs are
met.* Monitor residents' vital signs, intake and output, and other
health indicators, reporting any changes or concerns to nursing
staff.* Assist nurses with the implementation of care plans and
interventions to meet residents' physical, emotional, and social
needs.* Provide emotional support and companionship to residents,
engaging them in meaningful activities and conversations.* Maintain
a clean, safe, and orderly environment for residents, including
routine cleaning and disinfection of resident rooms and common
areas.* Respond promptly to resident call lights and requests for
assistance, ensuring timely and compassionate care.* Document care
provided and observations accurately and timely in residents'
electronic health records (EHR) or paper charts.* Participate in
interdisciplinary care team meetings and communicate effectively
with other healthcare professionals regarding residents' care and
