What does a successful Accountant do at Fiserv?Assist the Operational Accounting Organization in the monthly financial close process including preparation of monthly journal entries and general ledger account reconciliations. - Ensure documentation of reconciliations and journal entry procedures are maintained as changes occur.
What you will do:

• Complete journal entries, research and resolve reconciling items timely
• Prepare, review, and analyze balance sheet account reconciliations in accordance with the Generally Accepted Accounting Procedures (GAAP)
• Analyze various financial reports and prepare variance analysis when needed
• Participate in cross-functional projects as subject matter expert to support business, regulatory, and other operational changes
• Function as a liaison between Accounting, Finance, Product and Operations
  What you will need to have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or related field
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
    What would be great to have:
    • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and/or automated accounting systems experience, such as SAP
    • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
