Vaco Staffing is hiring for an Accounting Supervisor in Brookfield, WI. This is a direct hire role with our client. Under the direction of the Accounting Manager, this position manages the accounting operations and ensures the attainment of department objectives.Duties included but aren't limited to the following:- Direct accounting procedures and controls to ensure prompt and accurate accounting services - Provide accurate monitoring and reporting of excess claims. - Assist in the development of new software applications to assure that they have efficient and accurate accounting systems. - Direct payment and reconciliation procedures to ensure prompt and efficient processing to excise taxes collected, and all government related filings. - Assist Account Executives/Account Managers with advice and recommendations on handling the accounting procedures for new accounts. - Supervise direct reports, make recommendations for performance management and disciplinary action. Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting,
• 2+ years of accounting and supervisory experience
