Job Description Job Description Minimum 1 years Paraprofessional
or Special Education experience required. Applicants who do not
meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time
paraprofessional position is available for the 2025-2026 school
year at an elementary school in the North Chicago area. This role
supports teachers and works directly with elementary-aged students,
some of whom exhibit challenging behaviors. Location: Arlington
Heights, IL Schedule: Monday through Friday, 35 hours per week
(includes a 30-minute unpaid lunch and two unpaid 15-minute breaks)
Type: Contract, School Setting Responsibilities: Assist teachers
with classroom management and instructional tasks Provide
individualized support to students, including one-on-one assistance
Help students during classroom activities and learning sessions
Support toileting needs as required Qualifications: Must hold
Illinois Paraprofessional (Para) certification Experience working
with elementary students in a classroom environment Preference
given to candidates with experience supporting toileting Ability to
manage a dynamic and varied educational setting This role requires
a dedicated individual focused on fostering a supportive, positive
learning environment for young students. Candidates should be
comfortable with the demands of classroom support, including
assisting students with diverse needs. If you meet the
