Machinists for 2nd shift openings. VTL Experience is a PLUS Our 2nd
shift receives a 10% shift differential (in addition to hourly

Insurance, The Position: We are seeking experienced CNC Turning
Machinists for the 2nd shift to operate different CNC turning/lathe
machines in our shop utilizing FANUC operating systems. VTL
(Vertical Turning Lathes) experience is preferred. You will be
operating machines for valuable castings/forgings to manufacture
them into quality parts for customers. Typical hours are Monday -
Friday, 4:20 pm to 2:50 am. Must be available for overtime
including weekends and during peak production times. This position
offers a hire-on-bonus. Job duties: -Follow written instructions
and read and apply blueprint specifications. -Performs a complex
series of progressive machining operations on a diversified line of
work to close and exact tolerances and finishing specifications.
-Able to perform simple set-ups of many jobs. May operate more than
one machine. -Checks parts for conformance to specifications.
-Comply with safety regulations and maintain a clean, orderly work
area. -Perform all other duties as assigned or needed. The Right
Person/What we need from you: -Should be able to read and write
English. Basic computer skills are a plus -Preferred five or more
years of combined formal training and experience or equivalent
-Broad knowledge of machining techniques and familiarity with CNC
machine tool operating procedures -Ability to apply recognized
tooling and procedures where tolerances are close -Blueprint
reading ability -Requires a high school diploma/GED or equivalent
-Must be able to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds consistently
with heavier weight necessary at times What you get from us: *We
