Job Description Job Description Job Title: Electrical Machine Builder Job Description Join our dynamic team as an Electrical Machine Builder on the 1st shift within the Electrical Build Group. We are seeking a skilled professional with experience in building automated machinery and custom panels. This role involves constructing machinery in-house and traveling to install it at customer locations, with travel constituting approximately 10-20% of the role. Responsibilities Build custom panels based on electrical schematics. Perform machine wiring for automated machinery, specifically field-point I/O. Read and interpret electrical blueprints and schematics proficiently. Utilize personal tools to build panels, while power tools like drill motors, jig saws, and hole punches are provided. Work independently with minimal supervision or guidance. Essential Skills 3 years of experience in building machinery and wiring panels. Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics. Experience in wiring and building panels from scratch. Ability to wire machines and perform electrical assembly. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience as an Electrician, Panel Wirer, and Machine Builder. Why Work Here? This is a long-term position offering stability and growth opportunities. Work Environment The role is based in a manufacturing environment with approximately 50 employees at the location. It is a hands-on position requiring work on the production floor most of the time. The job includes building machinery in-house and traveling to customer sites for installation, with about 20% travel involved. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Buffalo Grove, IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $36.00/hr.
