Job Description Job Description Electrical Controls Engineer Electrical Controls Engineer Position Overview We are seeking a skilled Electrical Controls Engineer to design and implement electrical control systems for various applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, automation, and control systems, with a focus on enhancing operational efficiency and safety. Key Responsibilities Design and develop control systems for electrical equipment and machinery. Create and review electrical schematics and control panel designs using AutoCAD and SolidWorks. Program PLCs and HMIs, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems. Conduct testing and troubleshooting of control systems to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support robotics, motion control, and automation projects. Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM) and documentation for control panel manufacturing. Ensure compliance with industry standards, including UL and NEC regulations. Implement and optimize servo motion systems and vision systems for enhanced functionality. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. Proven experience as a Controls Engineer or similar role. Strong knowledge of PLC programming and HMI design. Familiarity with control panel design and UL standards. Experience with Allen Bradley systems and automation technologies. Proficiency in electrical schematics and control design using AutoCAD. Knowledge of motion control systems and robotics is a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
