Charter Manufacturing, a premier American family-owned provider of metal products, is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Electrician for our Engineering & Maintenance department. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring our plant's electrical systems and machinery operate efficiently and safely. With a strong emphasis on innovation and exceptional service, the ideal candidate will contribute to optimizing our manufacturing processes through expert electrical maintenance and innovative problem-solving. Conduct routine and preventive maintenance of electrical systems, including troubleshooting and repair. Install, service, and repair wiring, conduits, fixtures, and other electrical devices and systems in an industrial setting. Ensure compliance with all safety standards and regulations. Read and interpret diagrams, blueprints, and electrical schematics. Collaborate with the engineering team to improve plant equipment and systems. Monitor electrical supply and maintain equipment to ensure uninterrupted power supply. Document all maintenance and repair work for compliance and reporting purposes. Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, including PLCs and high-voltage wiring. Proficiency with electronic testing and repair tools. Ability to read and understand technical manuals and schematics. Excellent problem-solving skills. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid Electrician’s license. Certification in Electrical Safety Compliance. Professional Certification from organizations such as the National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies (NICET) is a plus.
