Job Description:
Charter Manufacturing, a premier American provider of metal
products and family-owned for four generations, is seeking an
experienced Industrial Maintenance Electrician to join our
Engineering & Maintenance department. This role is crucial for
ensuring the continual operation and efficiency of our electrical
systems and machinery in our steel and iron production facilities.
The ideal candidate will be skilled in troubleshooting, repairing,
and maintaining industrial electrical equipment, prioritizing
safety and quality in one of the industry's most dynamic settings.
Perform routine and preventative maintenance of electrical systems
and industrial equipment. Diagnose and repair electrical problems
in manufacturing equipment, including fault-finding, rewiring, and
monitoring. Ensure compliance with national and local safety codes
and regulations. Collaborate with other maintenance team members
and departments to optimize production efficiency. Document
maintenance and repair actions, and prepare reports on machine
status and downtime. Participate in the installation of new
electrical equipment and components. Expertise in industrial
electrical systems, including PLCs, motors, and high voltage
equipment. Strong problem-solving skills and proficiency in using
electrical diagnostic tools. Ability to read and interpret
mechanical and electrical blueprints and technical diagrams. Good
communication and teamwork skills. Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid Electrician's
license (specific requirements may vary by state). Certified
Maintenance & Reliability Technician (CMRT) is a plus.
