Charter Manufacturing, a renowned leader in the metal products industry with a rich family-owned history spanning four generations, is seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Electrician to join our Engineering & Maintenance team. This role is critical in ensuring the operational efficiency and reliability of our production systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems and equipment in our manufacturing facilities. You should possess a thorough understanding of industrial electrical systems, a strong commitment to safety standards, and a proactive approach to plant maintenance. Perform routine and preventive maintenance on electrical systems to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency. Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical components and machinery, adhering strictly to codes, diagrams, and manuals. Collaborate with other maintenance team members and management to effectively resolve maintenance issues and implement system improvements. Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and guidelines during maintenance procedures. Record and maintain detailed documentation of all maintenance work. Proven ability in electrical troubleshooting and repairs of industrial equipment. Understanding of advanced PLC programming and operation. Solid knowledge of electrical systems including AC/DC circuits, motor controls, and power distribution. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints.
