Description: Channel ManagerLooking for a thought leader with great execution capabilities, an entrepreneurial mindset, and a strong desire to think like a business owner. This will be a critical role and the new hire must have the ability to grow with the business.The channel marketing manager is responsible for the complete management of the cooking portfolio across multiple customers and channels, with an emphasis on maximizing omni-channel opportunities. They must act as the hub among multiple functional areas by co-developing merchandising and POP, in-store promotion strategies, online promotion strategies, portfolio mix management, and co-marketing partnerships. Gather and analyze data to improve consumer segmentation and targeting, data driven marketing, and a clear view of market share amongst our competitors.Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Analyze POS for trends and opportunities to drive market growth at retail Serve as a key conduit between sales leaders and various internal functions. Adept at synthesizing complex issues into succinct, action-oriented summaries Assume project management role though the development and maintenance of project plans to ensure the timely implementation of merchandising programs, tradeshows and events, and collateral Work closely with sales and marketing to develop promotional strategies and annual plans to achieve increased brand exposure and incremental sales with retailers Lead cross functional teams in developing in store displays, point of purchase materials, etc. Research and provide competitive intelligence through use of landscapes, reports, and presentations Work cross functionally to support ongoing priorities such as internal communication processes, product presentations, line reviews, market research and competitive intelligence Manage outside vendors as required for development and delivery of merchandising materials Collaborate with digital and advertising teams to drive brand awareness and promote sales Coordinate line reviews including schedule management, mix analysis, and competitive insightsRequired Skills: Strategic thinking and planning capabilities Strong presentation skills and comfortable with a variety of audiences Merchandising sense and strong problem solving skills Financial acumen including P&L experience Firm grasp of concepts related to brand and product marketing, market research, promotion, and pricing strategies Computer literate on all major business software packages High sense of urgency with a strong emphasis on achieving commitments Self-motivated with ability to multi-task and meet assigned deadlines Ability to prioritize projects that maximize benefit to the businessEducation and Experience Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or other related discipline 2-4 years of business experience, including experience marketing consumer products Must have the ability to manage a diverse customer group and lead in a cross-functional environment Experience with mass merchant retail a plusCompensation: $80-120k per year + bonus + benefitsRequirements:PI85fbd2465716-26289-34752953
