Manager, Partner Events excels in utilizing both digital and
traditional marketing channels to enhance the promotion and
attendance of in-person training classes and educational events
across our national business partner network. This pivotal role
collaborates with Sales, Training, Marketing, Operations, and IT
teams to ensure marketing campaigns successfully achieve lead and
sales targets while supporting field team requirements.
Responsibilities include overseeing new curriculum integrations,
executing event marketing strategies across multiple channels
including PPC, web, email, and social media, and maintaining strong
relationships with all stakeholders.This role requires a
collaborative and open mindset to manage and grow programs
effectively, ensuring that internal stakeholders, external industry
partners, and consumers all derive value from the course materials
provided.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Performance Measurement:
- Establish and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to
ensure all sales and marketing initiatives exceed targets. Adjust
the product and marketing strategies as necessary to optimize
performance.
- Relationship Management:
- Develop strong partnerships with the Outside Sales team and the
Official Partner network to enhance business outcomes.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with
cross-functional teams and external business partners to ensure
streamlined program execution and scalability.
- Strategic Collaboration:
- Work closely with the Education & Training Group and Sales team
to continuously improve and support the event curriculum.
- Collaborate with the Member Experience team to support and
evolve national community events campaigns, ensuring high member
retention and satisfaction.
- Engage with Data Analytics, IT, and other departments to create
targeted audience segments and ensure effective campaign delivery
through robust data analysis and IT alignment.
- Event and Content Management:
- Oversee the management of standing meetings, conduct
after-action reviews, and lead product marketing efforts to enhance
the effectiveness of training product sales through event
marketing.
- Support the creation, automation, and distribution of marketing
content and assets, ensuring alignment with brand standards and
compliance across all channels.
- Budget and Resource Management:
- Manage program budgets and monitor expenditures to ensure
activities remain within financial scope.
- Handle a high volume of semi-automated projects and campaigns
efficiently, maintaining quality assurance throughout all
processes.
- Industry Knowledge and Compliance:
- Stay updated on event marketing trends and best practices
within the B2B and B2C sectors, particularly related to
outdoor/sporting goods retailers, shooting ranges, and other
relevant channels.
- Ensure all marketing activities comply with industry standards
and company policies.
- General Duties:
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned to support the
overarching goals of the marketing department.

Requirements:
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related field, or
equivalent professional experience.
- Experience:
- A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in digital
marketing is required.
- Experience in both B2B and B2C marketing, particularly within
the firearm or self defense industry, is highly desirable but not
mandatory.
- Professional experience facilitating events with a promotional
event management platform such as Swoogo, Eventbrite, Fever, or
other similar software is highly desirable.
- Technical Skills:
- Must have proficiency in Google Suite, project management
software, and Email/SMS delivery platforms.
- Familiarity with Braze, Salesforce, Retool, Google Analytics,
Tableau, Adobe Creative Cloud, BrandMuscle, Google Ads, Meta Ads
Manager, EventBrite, and ClickUp is beneficial but not
essential.
- Professional Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proven
track record of making data-driven recommendations.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the
capacity to handle deadline-driven projects effectively.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, capable of
developing relationships and collaborating with a diverse range of
team members across creative, analytical, technical, customer
service, finance, operations, and more.
- Personal Attributes:
- Self-motivated with high standards and the ability to work
independently as well as part of a cross-functional team.
- Must be comfortable with change and show a willingness to grow
with the company and adapt within the role.
- Ability to influence consumer behavior, clearly identify calls
to action, and effectively direct traffic to sales conversion
channels throughout the consumer journey.

- Location and Travel:
- Preferential treatment will be given to candidates who live
within a commutable distance to our headquarters in West Bend,
Wisconsin with a hybrid approach to both remote work and in-office
work 2-3 days per week.
- Domestic travel required for 1-2 mid to large scale trade shows
or company summits annually. Event duties may include work outside
of traditional office hours. This individual will NOT be on-site
for all events, but may attend pilot events locally as needed.Why
