experienced brand-builder, aesthetic boundary-pusher, visionary
marketer, and a lover of firearms and the responsibly armed
Americans who rely on them for protection. As Creative Director,
your primary responsibility is to be the "chief storyteller" and
creative mentor for the USCCA. This role will put you at the
forefront of shaping the narrative for the USCCA.You bring to this
role your subject matter expertise in firearms and training. Your
experience in growing brands and fostering great relationships in
the firearms industry makes you uniquely suited for this

on!Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead the in-house marketing creative team (copy, design, photo,
and video).
- Lead the Concealed Carry Magazine Publishing Team.
- Lead Content Marketing Strategy and work cross-functionally to
execute it.
- Develop and grow the USCCA's brand identity through exceptional
storytelling.
- Consistently grow reach and relevance with high quality content
across all forms of media, partnering with marketing leaders to
turn audiences into USCCA members and those members into raving
fans.
- Partner with fellow marketing leaders to develop USCCA's
cohesive content strategy - from SEO to social media to blog to
public relations to video marketing platforms, to digital
acquisition and member retention.
- Develop leaders of leaders whose teams execute high-impact
projects.
- Collaborate with fellow marketing and training team leaders to
produce critical education and training assets for social media,
lead generation, membership sales, and retention.
- Lead all functions through the lens of the visitor, prospect,
and member.
- Manage all aspects of the annual budget process inclusive of
monthly tracking to ensure all teams are tracking to the
established budget.
- Effectively build and maintain relationships with all USCCA
business partners, spokespeople, content creators, influencers, and
brand ambassadors.Required Skills/Experience/Education:
- 10+ years professional experience in marketing, design, content
creation, publishing, or related functions.
- Strong understanding of the firearms industry, trends and
current events/legislation that could potentially impact the USCCA
business. Firearms training experience preferred.
- Must have a minimum of 5 years of proven experience in
professional people leadership or people management roles.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field - or
equivalent experience required.
- Demonstrated experience leading high performing teams in
fast-growth, dynamic organizations.
- Experience in driving successful content production and
execution of new product launches and market expansion
initiatives.
- Multi-medium content marketing expertise.
- Strong creative intuition with an ability to tell compelling
stories and create engagement.
- Track record of success in leading cross-functional teams of
internal and external partners.
- Owner mindset with a strong sense of urgency. Strong bias for
action and problem-solving in the face of challenges.
- Ability to determine authenticity and relevance of content, and
how it will be perceived by the marketplace.
- Impeccable attention to detail and accuracy.
- An eye for aesthetics to ensure articles, posts, videos, and
art/photography are visually appealing.
- Superior written and oral communication skills, proficiency
with electronic communication tools.
- Strong hands-on experience with project management software
preferred.
- Special operations or equivalent experience preferred.
- Demonstrates the Core Values of Delta Defense, LLC.Target
starting salary range $150,000-$225,000 commensurate with
experience. Role is also eligible for company bonus. Benefits
