As a Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse, you will provide basic bedside care to patients under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN) or physician, functioning within the scope of your license.Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality patient care by administering medications, observing patients for adverse reactions, and performing routine laboratory tests.
• Contribute to patient assessment by collecting data for analysis by a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Educate patients and families about disease treatment plans, including self-care post-discharge and follow-up care.
• Ensure patient safety by identifying safety hazards and emergency situations and initiating corrective action as appropriate.Requirements:
  • Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing.
  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 month of hire date or job transfer date.
  • High School diploma equivalency or 1 year of applicable cumulative job-specific experience.Preferred Qualifications:
    • Previous experience in long-term care settings.
    • Excellent communication skills with peers and patients.
