Job Description Catapult Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Marinette, Wisconsin. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 07/21/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Level III Trauma Center • General Information • Beds: 41, extension area with 6 additional beds • First-time traveler: Yes • Patient Types: • Basic medical/surgical – Acute neuro and cardiac w/interventions are sent out, CHF, COPD, sepsis, PNA, UTI, some ortho surgery, other general surgery, some COVID, chest tubes, some CBI • Patient Ratios: • RN: 1:4-5 (Days) & 1:5-6 (Nights) based on acuity • Required Certifications: • RN: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS (required) • Skills required: • RN: Cardiac rhythm interpretation, chest tubes, wound care, trachs, general med/surg skillset • Support on the Unit: • Charge Nurse: try to not assign patient load • Receptionist: during the day • Centralized Telemetry monitoring with tele tech • Hospitalist, 24/7 • RT, 24/7 • OT, PT, ST – days only • House Supervisor • US IV certified team to help with hard sticks • Phlebotomy to help with peripheral blood draws • Charting System/Equipment: • EPIC – preferred • Alaris • Pyxis • Floating: • RN: ICU/ED/other MS - skill appropriate assignments, would float facility staff first • Orientation: • 2 shifts on unit to learn flow • Scheduling: • Weekend rotation: every other • On-call: RN: if called off for low census, must remain on call • Holiday Expectations: every other holiday • Other notes or things you want us to check/verify? • Scrub Color: Any color, no hoodies • Parking: Free
