As part of our dynamic team, you will have the opportunity to leverage cutting-edge resources and practices to support cancer patients, guiding them through treatment plans uniquely tailored to their needs. Provide direct nursing care to oncology patients in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of our healthcare organization. Implement and monitor patient care plans. Modify plans as needed to meet changing health conditions, patient response, and medical findings. Administer prescribed medications, document nursing care, and maintain detailed reports of the symptoms and conditions of patients. Assist in the development and implementation of patient management policies and procedures to ensure optimal patient care. Offer education and support to patient families regarding treatment expectations, procedures, and ongoing recovery. Manage a team of nursing assistants and licensed practical nurses, ensuring all oncological, and healthcare protocols are followed properly. Proficient in administering chemotherapy and radiation therapy Skilled in patient health assessment and monitoring Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to cope with emotional stress and to manage burnout effectively High level of detail orientation and precision in handling complex treatment protocols Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure with the State Board Certification in Oncology Nursing (OCN) preferred but not required
