Job Description:
Ascension is seeking a dedicated and compassionate RN Registered
Nurse to join our faith-based healthcare team for the Weekend
Option program. At Ascension, we are committed to transforming

delivering high-quality healthcare to our community during weekend
shifts. This position offers the unique opportunity to balance
work-life by concentrating your work hours during weekends,
ensuring our commitment to the well-being of our patients and staff
alike. Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established
policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization.
Perform comprehensive patient assessments and prioritize patient
care based on acute needs. Implement and monitor patient care
plans. Modify plans as needed to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and monitor
responses. Record patient vital signs, medical information, and
care provided in patient medical records. Collaborate with
multidisciplinary team members to enhance patient care, sharing
insights and observations regarding patient needs. Educate patients
and their families on prevention and healthy habits, creating an
environment that fosters open communication. Provide emotional and
psychological support to patients and families. Strong clinical
skills with the ability to manage multiple patients efficiently
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of
handling sensitive situations with empathy Ability to work
independently and make acute nursing judgments in a challenging and
fast-paced environment Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance Life Insurance 401k Required: Current Registered Nurse
(RN) license in the state of practice Preferred: Basic Life Support
(BLS) certification provided by the American Heart Association or
an equivalent certifying organization
