Ascension is seeking dedicated and compassionate RN Registered Nurses for our Weekend Option program to join our faith-based healthcare organization. Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of Ascension. Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate utilizing computerized documentation systems. Administer medications, maintain patient health records, and help to implement the patient's care plan. Collaborate with other members of the professional healthcare team to ensure effective patient care delivery and achievement of desired patient outcomes. Effectively interact with patients and families, while maintaining the standard of professional nursing practice. Participate in educational programs to maintain competencies and improve skills, and provide education to patients and families. Proficiency in Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems Strong clinical skills and ability to handle stressful situations Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and make decisions in a fast-paced environment Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
