Cath Lab Tech Location: New Lenox, IL Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,996 per week Shift Information: Days - 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/2/2026 About the Position Job Title: Technologist Profession: Technologist Specialty: Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: 2 years of Cath Lab experience required License: Active License required Certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), ARRT required Must-Have: - Experience with heart caths, PCI, IABP insertions, STEMI call, IVUS/IFR, and interventional radiology cases - COVID and flu vaccination required - BLS and ACLS at the time of submission - ARRT certification required Description: Interventional radiology is revolutionizing health services delivery. It offers decreased recovery times, reduced costs, and less pain. Interventional radiology can lead to shorter (if any) hospital stays. The technologist will act as the first point of contact for referrals and patients. They will attend patient consultations and perform initial examinations and assessments. Recommendations will be made to the referring physician, patients, and patients' families under the guidance of the interventional radiologist. Daily rounds will involve communicating patient progress to the medical staff and radiologist. Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication abilities are essential for this role.
