LocumJobsOnline is working with Barton Associates to find a
qualified Optometry MD in Wisconsin! We are seeking an experienced
Optometrist for a 120-day locum tenens assignment in Wisconsin,
starting Feb 1, 2026. This opportunity offers a 4x10s schedule with
shifts from 8:00am to 6:00pm. Candidates with IHS or FQHC
experience are preferred, and the ideal provider will have at least
three years of clinical experience. Join our client in providing
essential eye care services in a dynamic setting. Job Details -
Location: Wisconsin - Start Date: Feb 1, 2026 - LOA: 120 days -
Provider Type Needed: Optometrist - Schedule: 4x10s, 8:00am-6:00pm
Responsibilities and Duties - Perform tests and examine patients'
eyes and vision, evaluating each component - Analyze and listen to
patients' descriptions of symptoms to diagnose eye disorders,
diseases, or injuries - Examine patients for symptoms indicative of
organic or congenital ocular disorders and determine the nature and
extent of the disorder or injury - Conduct various tests to
determine vision loss - Prescribe and administer medications and
perform procedures, as indicated - Direct remedial activities to
aid in regaining vision or utilizing remaining sight, including
writing prescriptions for corrective glasses and instructing
patients in eye exercises - Inform patients about diagnoses and
treatment options to ensure understanding and informed
decision-making - Complete accurate documentation of ocular and
vision diagnoses and treatments according to QI Standards and
standards of care Additional Information - Wisconsin optometry
license required - Board certification in Optometry required -
IHS/FQHC experience preferred - Minimum of 3 years experience
