Type: Full-time. This job is HYBRID. Shift: 1st. Shift Details:
Holidays: Weekends: Job Summary: Under the supervision and
direction of a department leader, or other appropriate designee,
the Legal Intern will have the opportunity to learn about and
complete project-based task(s) and day to day activities within the
Office of General Counsel. The Legal Intern will be afforded
opportunities to work with multidisciplinary teams and learn about
healthcare operational and regulatory work, healthcare litigation,
corporate governance, medical staff and peer review, policy
management and administration, physician and business arrangements,
and clinical transactional matters such as mergers and day-to-day
healthcare issues consistent with the organization’s mission,
vision, and guiding principles. EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION: Actively
enrolled in an accredited law school. Second or Third year law
students preferred. EDUCATION DESCRIPTION: Bachelor's Degree
required. SPECIAL SKILLS DESCRIPTION: Strong analytical skills and
effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability
to interact with all levels of staff and/or others while achieving
positive outcomes. Excellent legal research skills, with a strong
attention to detail. Demonstrated ability to manage a range of
legal matters. Self-starter capable of working independently and
seeking direction as needed. Ability to work under pressure,
prioritize responsibilities, and meet deadlines. Proficiency in
