Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Occupational
Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of
Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not
meet these qualifications will not be considered. An opportunity is
available for a skilled Occupational Therapist to support students
from kindergarten through 12th grade within a dynamic school
environment in Rockford, IL. This contract position offers the
chance to make a meaningful impact on childrens educational
experiences by addressing their sensory, motor, and functional
needs. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct thorough evaluations to
assess students occupational therapy needs in compliance with
Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). - Develop and implement
customized intervention plans aimed at enhancing students fine
motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living activities. -
Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to
integrate therapy goals into the classroom setting and support
academic success. - Monitor and document progress, adjusting
strategies as necessary to meet evolving student needs. - Provide
training and guidance to school staff and families to support
continuity of care. Qualifications and Experience: - Licensed
Occupational Therapist credential required. - Experience working in
school settings with K-12 populations. - Knowledge of school-based
therapy regulations and best practices. - Strong communication and
interpersonal skills enabling effective collaboration with
multidisciplinary teams. - Ability to manage caseload and
documentation efficiently. Location: - Position based in Rockford,
Illinois. Contract Details: - Full contract for the current school
year (CSY). This role offers a rewarding chance to positively
