Job Description:
American Medical Response (AMR) seeks a skilled and
compassionate 911 Paramedic to join our dedicated team in providing
prompt, proficient medical assistance in emergency situations. As a
vital first responder, you will play a critical role in our mission
to deliver outstanding patient care during transport and at the
scene of emergencies. Equipped with the latest technology and
training, our paramedics are prepared to confront a variety of
medical emergencies in diverse settings. This position requires a
highly skilled individual who can make rapid assessments and
perform life-saving procedures under pressure. Respond promptly to
emergency calls and provide medical assistance at the scene and
during transport. Assess patient condition and perform necessary
emergency medical procedures. Operate and maintain emergency
medical equipment such as defibrillators and bag-valve mask
resuscitators. Collaborate with dispatch, police, firefighters, and
other emergency professionals. Complete patient care forms and
other documentation accurately and comprehensively. Participate in
continuous training and professional development activities. Ensure
adherence to health, safety, and medical regulations. Proficient in
emergency medical procedures and protocols Ability to remain calm
and effective in high-pressure situations Excellent communication
and interpersonal skills Physical stamina and agility required to
perform tasks in emergency situations Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid state
paramedic license (EMT-P) CPR and Advanced Cardiac Life Support
(ACLS) certification Driver’s license appropriate for heavy vehicle
operation
