Job Description:
Ascension is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered
Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery team on a travel basis,
providing first-class care in alignment with our faith-based
mission of transforming healthcare. In this Role, which is vital to
the health and well-being of expecting mothers and newborns, you
will work in various settings within our extensive network to
deliver personalized and innovative care. You will have the
opportunity to work with leading medical professionals and utilize
the latest in healthcare technology to significantly impact
patients' health outcomes across communities. Provide direct and
individualized nursing care to pregnant women and newborns Assist
in the delivery process, advocating for the mother's needs and
safety Facilitate diagnostics and monitoring procedures such as
non-stress tests, labor checks, and ultrasounds Educate and support
families on childbirth, newborn care, and recovery Collaborate
within a multi-disciplinary team to create a holistic care plan
Adhere to safety protocols and healthcare regulations at various
Ascension locations Document patient care services and patient's
medical history Proficiency in fetal monitoring Ability to perform
in high-stress environments Strong communication and interpersonal
skills Knowledgeable in modern maternity and healthcare practices
