Job Description:

Ascension is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our rehabilitation team, embodying our faith-based mission to enhance patient health through personalized care and cutting-edge innovation. As a Registered Nurse in our Rehab department, you will provide hands-on nursing care, ensuring the recovery and comfort of patients recovering from surgery, injury, or serious conditions. This role demands a high level of patience, empathy, and a thorough understanding of rehabilitative practices and patient care. Evaluate and record patients' recovery progress. Administer medications and treatments per doctor’s orders. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create and implement tailored care plans. Educate patients and families on treatment plans and rehabilitation processes. Monitor patient vital signs and symptoms specific to their medical condition and report any major changes. Maintain patient records and adhere to health and safety standards. Skilled in patient assessment and triage Proficiency in administering medications and managing IVs Ability to work collaboratively in an interdisciplinary team Excellent communication and organizational skills Comfortable using medical software for patient documentation Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse (CRRN) preferred
