Job Description:
Ascension is seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to
join our Neuro Intensive Care Unit at our faith-based, innovative
healthcare network. This vital role is geared towards those who are
passionate about providing critical care to patients with
neurological disorders and conditions, ensuring that the care
provided aligns with our mission of enhancing the health outcomes
of the communities we serve. As a part of our team, you will
collaborate with top medical professionals in a supportive and
advanced environment to deliver high-quality, compassionate, and
personalized care. Provide direct and individualized nursing care
to patients diagnosed with neurological issues based on the
application of scientific nursing principles. Monitor, record, and
report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions in a timely and
efficient manner. Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and
assist in surgery or other medical procedures. Create and maintain
accurate patient records and prepare clinical reports for health
care providers. Assist in the development and implementation of
care plans for each patient. Excellent ability to manage intensive
care unit technology. Strong analytical and critical thinking
skills to handle urgent, life-threatening situations. Profound
skills in neurological assessment and monitoring. Effective
communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with
patients, families, and medical staff. Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid registered
nurse (RN) license in the state of employment. Certification in
Neurological Care (CNRN) recommended. BLS and ACLS certification
required.
