Job Description:
Encompass Health's Van Matre Rehabilitation Hospital invites
applications for the position of Nurse Supervisor. This role is
pivotal in providing leadership in our high-tech rehabilitative
environment, ensuring both a compassionate and effective recovery
process for our patients. As a Nurse Supervisor, you'll collaborate
with a team of professional healthcare providers, employing
advanced technology and treatment plans tailored specially for each
patient. This position involves direct supervision of nursing
staff, oversight of patient care, and ensuring adherence to our
high standards of care. Manage and supervise nursing staff,
providing guidance, training, and feedback. Ensure compliance with
healthcare regulations and standards. Collaborate with
interdisciplinary teams to develop effective patient care plans.
Administer patient care efficiently while managing resources
wisely. Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment for
patients and staff. Conduct regular staff evaluations and implement
performance improvement measures. Stay informed of advancements in
the field and integrate best practices into daily operations.
Strong leadership and organizational skills. Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient in nursing
practices and patient care management. Ability to handle
high-stress situations calmly and effectively. Knowledge of
healthcare laws, regulations, and standards. Medical Insurance
Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Registered Nurse (RN)
license in the state of practice. Basic Life Support (BLS)
certification required. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
preferred.
