Job Description:
Ascension is seeking dedicated and compassionate Registered
Nurses specializing in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR)
services to join our travel team. As part of our mission to
innovate healthcare and provide top-tier services with a
personalized touch, you will play a critical role in supporting
surgical teams specifically focused on cardiac surgeries. This
position requires strong technical skills, an understanding of
advanced surgical procedures, and a commitment to patient care.
Assist in surgical operations under the guidance of senior nurses
and surgeons. Monitor and ensure the safe, efficient practice and
high-quality care in the operating room. Coordinate with healthcare
professionals to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
plans. Prepare the operating room for surgery and ensure all
necessary equipment is available and functioning. Administer and
monitor patient during perioperative period, providing direct
nursing care. Educate patients and their families on post-operative
care and health maintenance. Strong clinical skills in a surgical
setting Proven expertise in cardiovascular patient care Ability to
operate specialized surgical equipment High competence in observing
and maintaining patient safety and infection control standards
Capability to collaborate effectively in a high-pressure
environment Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance
Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the
state of practice Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
Certified Nurse, Operating Room (CNOR) certification is a plus
