This position demands adaptability and a commitment to delivering high standards of patient care across multiple settings. Provide direct nursing care in various departments as needed, adapting to the dynamics of each unit. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team. Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and monitor responses. Record patient histories and symptoms, updating information in patient records and on charts. Educate patients and their families on disease processes, medical procedures, and other aspects of therapeutic regimens. Promote patient independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills. Strong clinical skills in a variety of medical settings Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Adaptability to various clinical environments Critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice Basic Life Support (BLS) certified through the American Heart Association or equivalent within three months of employment Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
