Job Description:
Ascension seeks an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Float Registered
Nurse dedicated to delivering high-quality patient care across
multiple ICU units. As a faith-based organization, we emphasize

how healthcare is delivered. Our ICU Float Nurses are pivotal to
our hospital operations, ensuring patient safety and optimal
outcomes by flexing across various intensive care situations. The
role demands adaptability, acute clinical skills, and the ability
to provide critical assistance during life-threatening emergencies.
Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients based on
the application of scientific nursing principles. Monitor, record,
and communicate patient condition as appropriate to care team,
physician, patient, and family. Assist in exuding a high standard
of healthcare during life-support activities and high-level patient
care. Adapt to rapidly changing technology as new tools and
techniques become available. Float between multiple ICU units,
adjusting quickly to varying patient needs. Strong clinical skills
with a focus on critical care. Ability to adapt to multiple
clinical settings. Excellent team communication and leadership
skills. Proficiency in using healthcare software and patient

Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Critical Care
Registered Nurse (CCRN) certification preferred
