working with Cynet Health to find a qualified CVICU RN in Madison,
Wisconsin, 53792! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing
Specialty: Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Night 3x12-Hour; Day 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 hours
Experience: Minimum of two years of acute care nursing experience
within the last three years in the specialty required. License:
Wisconsin RN license required. Certifications: AHA BLS and ACLS
required. Must-Have: Experience and knowledge of the NextStage CVVH
machine required. Telemetry test must be passed prior to starting.
Description: Day and night shifts available, working 0700-1930 and
1900-0730. Every other weekend and some holidays required. No call
responsibilities. CVICU experience required. Experience in a
cardiothoracic surgery and/or acuity adaptable area preferred.
Traveler must have basic arrhythmia experience. Experience managing
patients with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure. Obtaining 12
lead EKG/ECG experience needed. Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP)
and Impella experience required. Experience with post cardiac
surgery, sheath removal, and management of Ventricular Assist
Devices (LVAD/RVAD) preferred. Previous charge experience
preferred. Proficient in interpreting dysrhythmias and management
of dysrhythmias necessary. Experience with Coronary Artery Bypass
Graft (CABG) and central venous pressure monitoring required.
Competent in blood product administration and central line
management. Experience in managing ventilated patients and
tracheostomy care essential. Understanding of infection prevention
and isolation precautions required. Required to pass a telemetry
test based on strict criteria. Successful candidates will deliver
care in a dynamic, interdisciplinary environment. Care will focus
on patients requiring specialized care following cardiac surgeries
and procedures, heart and/or lung transplants, and various medical
