How you’ll make an impact in this role Managing care for patients with complex surgical needs. Patient assessment and monitoring post-operatively (vitals, pain, incision site, drainage, mobility). Performing and maintaining IV access, central lines, and urinary catheters. Monitoring and managing drains (JP, Blake), and advanced wound care. Collaborating with surgical teams, hospitalists, respiratory therapies, and physical therapists. What minimum requirements you’ll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Registered Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Licensure from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing OR current home state license if considered multi-state/Compact State. Education: Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire required.
