Job Description UW Health is seeking a Nurse Practitioner Pain Management for a job in Prairie Du Sac, Wisconsin. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Pain Management - Discipline: Nurse Practitioner - Duration: Ongoing - Employment Type: Staff Work Schedule: /n 100% FTE, hours. Monday- Friday, 8 hour shifts between 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. No weekends, holidays, or call. /n As an Advanced Practice Provider, you'll play an integral role in our inpatient care teams by providing high-quality, cost-effective care to patients. /n /n We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner to: /n /n - Provide pain care (acute and chronic pain care) for adult patients in an inpatient clinical setting. The Nurse Practitioner will demonstrate a high degree of clinical expertise in working with patients with pain, including acute postoperative/traumatic pain, chronic non-cancer and cancer related plan conditions. /n - Evaluate and manage patients referred to the Acute and Chronic Pain and Inpatient Pain Services. The Anesthesiology Pain Service provides consultations and the development of a comprehensive pain management plans for patients with complex pain and is actively involved in perioperative analgesia for both adult and pediatric patients. /n - Work in close collaboration with a multidisciplinary health team and function with a high degree of autonomy. /n - Work with a team consisting of a small group of physicians and advanced practice providers. /n /n /n/n Qualifications/n/n/n /n /n - Master's Degree or Doctorate’s degree from accredited Nursing Program Required /n /n /n /n /n /n /n Licenses & Certifications/n /n /n /n - Active RN and APRN certifications and licenses, including prescriptive authority, in state(s) of practice Upon Hire Required and /n - Active board certification as a NP in area of clinical practice.
