Join Performance Foodservice, a leader in food distribution, as a Home Daily Delivery Driver, serving as a vital link between our company and its customers. Our drivers ensure timely transport and delivery of food and food-related products to various customer locations, from local family-owned restaurants to large nationwide chains, all while maintaining the highest safety standards. This position involves operating a commercial vehicle over established routes, handling freight, and managing delivery documentation. Operate commercial vehicles over established routes to deliver products to customers. Load and unload products, verify loads for accuracy, and deliver them as instructed. Handle invoices related to each delivery. Maintain communication with dispatch and report any issues or deviations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and report any mechanical problems. Adhere to all safety standards and regulations required by the DOT, and ensure all safety equipment is functional and in use. Ability to operate and navigate a large commercial vehicle Strong organizational and time management skills Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Basic math and paperwork management skills Proficiency in using GPS and other routing systems Ability to handle physical workload required for loading and unloading products Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Clean driving record DOT medical card
