Job Description:

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Coordinate and order all production materials that will be needed for the facility through various suppliers. Oversee lead times for given materials through various suppliers. Oversee inventory and usage of all production materials. In charge of lot codes for all production materials. Perform a physical count of all of the production materials on hand at each week's end. Conduct analysis each week for the previous week's discrepancies between usage and inventory on hand for all production materials. Engage and communicate with production personnel regarding materials needed on a daily basis. Engage and communicate with the other production facilities within the organization on shared materials. Input Purchasing Orders into a database upon receiving production materials at the given times of delivery. Provide direction to personnel within the given department. Maintain an organized department floor. Maintain records on all production materials. Perform other duties as assigned. Required qualifications, skills and experience: Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required Experience: At least 2 years of prior inventory control experience At least 1 year of receiving experience. Excellent communication skills are required. Proficient within Microsoft Office with an emphasis on Excel. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Must be capable of lifting 50 pounds without assistance. Must be able to work in environments that are Hot and/or Cold. Work Schedule This position requires working Friday night into Saturday morning each week to perform a physical inventory count of all production materials. This position may require working Holidays when necessary. A (6th) workday within the scheduled workweek may be required based on the needs of the department.
