$70,000 - $80,000 + 10% bonus
Job Title: Production Supervisor
Job Summary: The Production Supervisor is responsible for leading and managing a team of up to 30 production workers in a manufacturing environment. This role requires prior manufacturing experience and involves reporting to the Department Manager. The primary focus of this role is to ensure efficient and effective production processes, meeting production targets, and maintaining quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:--
Team Leadership: Supervise and provide leadership to a team of up to 30 production workers, ensuring they meet production goals, safety standards, and quality requirements.
Production Planning: Collaborate with the Department Manager to plan and schedule production activities, allocating resources, and optimizing production schedules.
Quality Assurance: Oversee the production process to ensure that products meet established quality standards. Implement and enforce quality control measures.
Productivity and Efficiency: Monitor production performance and identify opportunities for improvement in productivity, cost-effectiveness, and process efficiency.
Safety Compliance: Ensure that all production activities are conducted in compliance with safety regulations and guidelines, and promote a culture of safety within the production team.
Training: Develop and implement training programs for production workers to enhance their skills and ensure they are proficient in their roles.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of production activities, including production output, downtime, and quality metrics. Generate and submit reports as required.
Problem Solving: Address and resolve production-related issues promptly, coordinating resources and making decisions to minimize disruptions.
Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels and coordinate with relevant departments to ensure materials and supplies are available for production.
Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to optimize production operations, reduce waste, and enhance product quality.
Job Requirements

Prior manufacturing experience is required.
Proven leadership and team management experience.
Knowledge of manufacturing processes and production equipment.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Understanding of safety regulations and best practices in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure manufacturing environment.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Ability to motivate and lead a large team.
Flexibility to work in shifts if required.
Proficiency in using relevant production management software.
