Job Description Job Description Salary: $16.40 Hourly BOE The Personal Care Worker provides non-medical personal care and supportive services to individuals in their homes, assisting them with activities of daily living and helping maintain their independence and quality of life. Qualifications Completion of a state-approved Personal Care Worker training program High school diploma or equivalent (preferred) Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Current CPR and First Aid certification Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English Physical ability to perform essential job functions Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming Help with toileting and incontinence care Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning Perform light housekeeping tasks related to client's care Prepare and serve meals according to client's dietary needs Provide medication reminders (as allowed by state regulations) Assist with shopping and errands Provide companionship and emotional support Observe and report changes in client's condition Maintain a safe and clean environment for the client Document services provided in accordance with agency policies Maintain client confidentiality and adhere to privacy regulations Communicate effectively with clients, families, and supervisors
